Finding Your Unique Style
I like to start all my client consultations with a Personal Style Survey. Don't let the formal name fool you – it's actually a fun, spontaneous process. Here's how it works: you flip through design magazines and tear out any image that catches your eye and evokes a positive emotion. Don't overthink it, just go with your gut. You don’t have to search for specific ideas or designs. It’s more about understanding what spaces naturally evoke happy and joyful feelings.
Once we have your selection, the real magic begins. We'll sit down together and chat about these images. We’ll discuss what you like and don’t like about the pictures, and if there is anything you would change. Then we’ll go more in-depth and identify any themes or patterns that occur. For example, you might be drawn to strong patterns or specific colors. There might be particular materials that reoccur again and again, like wood or stone. We’ll also look into the predominant moods and types of spaces you favor.
The Style Survey helps to paint a picture of what you truly love and what makes you feel happy and inspired. It can clarify the direction you want to go and streamline the process so that we only spend time on the things that are important to you.

Using what we learn from your Survey, I start crafting a design that's uniquely yours. Every choice, from the flow of the room to the overarching color themes, is guided by your personal preferences. I believe in creating spaces that not only look beautiful but also feel uniquely yours. After all, what's the point of a gorgeous room if it doesn't make you feel happy and joyful?
